Every change in seasons brings in almost every normal female a strong desire for a wardrobe change. Of course, that comes with a price and a string of other impracticalities, which are too many to mention.

One of the easiest ways to achieve a fresh look without breaking the bank is to invest in items such as coloured and patterned tights. Especially as they are increasingly popular both on the street and the catwalks. Take your pick, there are lots of interesting designs and patterns out there.

If you want to sport the Prada retro car look, but can’t quite afford it:

I tried it myself the other day and believe it or not everyone noticed my tights.

Yellow obsession

Must be the spring’s approach or simply a tiredness with all the grey of the lingering winter, but I want a lot of yellow! Rejoyce in the yellow extravaganza below – a feast for bored eyes.

The little white shirt

The little white shirt is as important to a woman’s wardrobe as the little black dress.  And that’s a fact!
Whilst holidaying in India, I found myself contemplating the practicality of my cotton oversized H&M white shirt. Perfect for hiding any wobbly bits I wasn’t particularly interested in displaying (although you’d be amazed how much one shrinks after two weeks of baking in the sun!), perfect for hiding away from mosquitoes, perfect for keeping cool in the heat and perfect for looking really chic even in the most remote places in the world.
Colonial chic, street chic, boho chic, festival chic, you name it! The little white shirt goes well with almost anything. Team it with skinny jeans, boyfriend jeans, patterned skirts, high waisted trousers, shorts, oversized sunnies, hats and most importantly oversized bags and you’ll feel like a star!
Here are only a few of my favourite looks:
